Description
The term “Mvria” was used by the Romans to describe a mineral and savoury wine, qualities that define this distinctive and precious white wine with a bold personality. In this wine, you can truly sense the aroma of the grapes: this is what makes Mvria a unique product. Pecorino, thanks to its remarkable aging potential, is often considered a white wine dressed as a red.
SENSORY ANALYSIS
The wine has a straw yellow color, slightly veiled, with good consistency. On the nose, it is intense and complex, offering aromas of perfectly ripe white-fleshed fruit: apple, pear, and white peach, with citrus notes of lime and bergamot. There are floral hints of jasmine and orange blossom, alongside vegetal nuances of fresh mint and rosemary, followed by a mineral undertone and an almond-like finish. Its quality is excellent. On the palate, the wine is dry, warm, and smooth, with a fresh and savory character complemented by a velvety tannic note. It is well-balanced, with intense and long-lasting flavors.
